I started my professional life in hospitality in wellness resorts and luxury boutique hotels on Calamigos Ranch in Malibu where I learned the art of service, people management, and creating experiences that leave lasting impressions. I spent over a decade fine-tuning operations, leading teams, and ensuring that every detail mattered — because it always does.
Over time, I realized I wasn’t just managing experiences — I was building systems. That shift led me into consulting, where I began helping other entrepreneurs streamline operations, launch new ideas, and grow sustainably. I founded The Little Business Co. to bring that support to more people — combining strategy with heart and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes know-how.
Throughout my career, I’ve always been drawn to social issues — especially in the areas of gender-based violence and mental health. Volunteering with nonprofits gave me a deeper connection to mission-driven work, and helped me see how my skills could support a greater purpose.
Writing has been a thread through it all — from customer service manuals to brand messaging and internal communications. Only recently have I begun to lean into storytelling more intentionally — using it as a tool for advocacy, education, and personal reflection. That shift has led me to publish essays, take on editorial internships, and contribute to organizations focused on community wellness and care.
Today, I live at the intersection of strategy, service, and storytelling, helping people and organizations express who they are and what they stand for — clearly, creatively, and with purpose. I write about mental health, physical well-being, politics, and many other topics. I explore these themes through blog posts, personal essays, social commentary, and stand-up comedy.
